Pesta Benak is one of Sarawak's iconic event and celebrated on a grand scale. Centered in Sri Aman, there will longboat paddling competition, tidal bore surfing, water sports, food and trade fair and; nightly entertaiment. Two new activies for this year are a body-building contest and hot air balloon rides.
Petrosains DinoTrek 2, the extended dinosaur exhibition has taken on a newfound quest to change everything you ever knew about dinosaurs. This exhibition was first opened to the public in the year 2002, in the centre in KLCC before venturing out in 2004. With the expansion and highly demand from public, starting from 1st October 2013, Petrosains Dinotrek 2 will operate at Muzium Sarawak.
Pesta Limbang is yearly event organized by Residen Office Limbang in conjuction with 50th Year Sarawak Anniversary.
The week-long Kanowit Festival is a celebration of culture and goodwill. The highlights would be the Kanowit Regatta and F3000 Fast Power Boat Race, Traditional Cultural Events, Beauty Contest, Land Floats, Handicraft Promotion and Exhibition at Fort Emma, Kanowit.
The 2013 edition will have the dragon boat category for the first time. Participants are expected to come from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. This annual event is the showcase of boat race with participation from various government agencies, private sectors and also participants from overseas such as Indonesia and Brunei. Other activities include displays of crafts and exhibitions by local entrepreneurs.

Gawai Carnival Redeems ia an annual gawai carnival organised by REDEEM and has grown popularity abd size by leaps and bound sice inception in 2006. This is due to the fact that it is truly promoting and reflecting genuine traditional festival culture and sports of the natives of Borneo and Malaysia particularly the Bidayuh tribe and is also held in very fitting rural setting.
A Jungle Village Festival - this internationally recognised Rainforest World Music Festival is a unique festival that brings together on the same stage renowned world musicians from all continents and indigenous musicians from the interiors of the mythical island of Borneo. Its formula of afternoon interactive workshops; ethno-musical lectures, jamming sessions and mini concerts, followed by evening performances on the main stage has proven to be a hit with audience, who come from near and far.
A week-long celebration of food, music and dances celebrating the diverse cultural background of Sibu community such as Iban/Bidayuh/Orang Ulu (Dayak Pavilion), Malay/Melanau and Chinese.
